Private Japan Journeys for Couples and Families Who Want to Travel Slowly and Deeply
We plan and coordinate bespoke journeys across Japan, including ryokan stays, food and sake experiences, artisan visits, private guides, and thoughtful travel logistics.
Do not let a once-in-a-lifetime Japan trip become a rushed checklist of places. Return home with stories, context, and time you actually remember.
You do not need to have every date or hotel decided. Start with what you know, and we will help you understand whether the trip is a good fit.

What gets lost without the right plan
The real risk is not missing one famous place. It is spending your Japan trip tired, uncertain, and disconnected from what you came to experience.
A route that looks good on a map
Five cities can look exciting before departure, but in Japan each transfer takes energy. A beautiful trip can quietly become a logistics project.
Experiences chosen too late
The most meaningful meals, guides, ryokans, and cultural encounters often require context, timing, and early coordination.
Memories reduced to photos
Without the right pacing and explanation, temples, meals, and craft visits can pass by as images rather than stories you carry home.
The change we create
From a rushed and uncertain Japan trip to a calm, personal journey with meaning.
Too many cities, too little time
Many travelers begin with a long list: Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hakone, Niseko, Nara, Kanazawa. The trip can become a transfer schedule instead of a memory.
Fewer places, chosen better
We shape the journey around your purpose, pace, comfort, and the experiences worth protecting time for: dining, rest, cultural encounters, and unhurried discovery.
Moments from real journeys
A private journey, captured in a quiet moment.
These are real moments from journeys we have planned, not staged photography: a small window into the pace, warmth, and care behind a Wellnethy trip.

Guiding guests beneath the great lantern of the Kaminarimon at Senso-ji in Asakusa.

A farewell dinner in Tokyo, shared as the journey draws to a close.
We are trusted by guests who value discretion, including those who prefer to travel without being recognized. Faces are gently softened in our photography, a quiet sign of the confidentiality we bring to every journey.
Ways to shape your journey
One bespoke journey, shaped by the themes that matter to you.
These are not separate products to choose from. They are elements we can combine into a private journey depending on your interests, season, budget, and travel style.

Ryokan, Hot Springs & Rest
Carefully selected stays, atmosphere, recovery time, and travel pacing that leaves room to breathe.

Food, Sake & Local Taste
Dining, sake, tea, whisky, markets, counters, and local hosts with context, not just reservations.

Artisans & Cultural Encounters
Calligraphy, craft, tea, flowers, studios, makers, and private cultural moments arranged with respect.
For travelers who choose depth
This is for people who would rather understand Japan than simply collect Japan.
You value fewer, better experiences over doing everything.
You want your children, partner, or family to remember stories, not only landmarks.
You care about food, craft, hospitality, and the people behind the places.
You are comfortable investing in planning that protects your time, energy, and memories.
How we are different
A good Japan journey is not about doing more. It is about choosing better.
We protect your pace
We usually recommend one or two signature experiences per day, not a checklist that leaves everyone tired.
We translate context
Japan is not only language. It is etiquette, timing, atmosphere, relationships, and knowing why something matters.
We connect you with people
The most memorable travel moments often come from meeting the right host, maker, guide, or local partner.

FAQ
Before you inquire
Do you book flights?
Our core focus is designing your journey within Japan. Many travelers book international flights themselves, but we can arrange or advise on them as part of full travel support.
Can you support reservations and guides?
Yes, depending on the scope. We can support guides, ryokans, restaurants, cultural experiences, transport planning, and coordination for selected trips.
Is this a group tour with other travelers?
No. Every journey is fully private, with only your party. We design for couples, families, and small groups of friends traveling together. We do not run scheduled group departures.
How far in advance should we start planning?
Many guests reach out around six months before their trip, and we recommend starting at least three months in advance: sought-after ryokans, guides, and seasonal experiences fill up early. If your dates are closer than that, ask anyway; we will tell you honestly what is still possible.
Can I start even if my dates are not fixed?
Yes. If you are still early, the free guide or inquiry form may be the best first step.
Will you support us during the trip?
Yes. Guests traveling with Wellnethy can reach us directly if anything unexpected comes up during the journey. You will not be left to solve problems alone in an unfamiliar language.
What if we need to change or cancel plans?
We do our best to accommodate changes, even close to the day. Some reservations, restaurants and ryokans in particular, carry cancellation fees or cannot be rebooked on short notice, so we walk through these conditions with you clearly in advance. No surprises.
